Confident Trust and Patient Endurance

So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!  Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.

—Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT)

Heavenly Father,

Let me forever hold onto my confident trust in You and patiently endure each struggle I face—so that I might continue to do Your will while I remain on this earth and receive the reward of all that You have promised me in Your Word.

When my strength is spent, my hope is nearly gone and I am tempted to allow my faith in You to slip, remind me of all the times You have demonstrated Your faithful and unfailing love for me throughout my lifetime—all the ways that You have kept me, by Your grace.

Help me to be steadfast in my belief that I am never alone as I walk my path—that You are always with me—and that Your plans for me include the promises of provision, protection, peace and a glorious eternity with You, which is being unfolded before me even right now.

With patient endurance, help me to stand in Your strength, as You show me the way forward—so that I can continue in obedience to Your will at all times and bring You glory through my faith.

Let me forever hold onto my confident trust in You and patiently endure each struggle I face—so that I might continue to do Your will while I remain on this earth and receive the reward of all that You have promised me in Your Word.

In the name of Jesus, Amen.
