LORD, you alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing.

Gracious and Loving LORD,
Oh that it could be said of my life in the end—that You were enough for me!
Help me to understand and
believe that You alone are my inheritance—that which is mine now and that which
is left to me forever when life on earth is over.
Make me conscious of the
truth that you are my over flowing cup of blessing—that every good thing comes
to me as You planned and by Your hand alone.
Help me to see that You
guard all that is mine—that You have given me everything and that You also
stand guard over it all, so that I won’t lose anything You want me to have—whether
it be things that meet my physical needs, or spiritual truths, or even relationships
You have established.
And help me be faithful to
offer my inheritance to those that follow after me—knowing that in giving my
inheritance to others I lose nothing, since in You I have already gained
everything.
Oh that it could be said of my life in the end—that You were enough for me!
