Lord of Peace,
How I long to remain in Your perfect peace! How I need to know that Your Presence abides continually here with me!
I know that it is not Your
will for me to wear myself out—mentally, emotionally, physically and
spiritually—by spending my days trying to figure out things on my own—as if I
could ever do anything apart from You!
In fact, it is my trying
to “figure out things” that is often the very thing that keeps me from entering
into Your peace—that peace which is far beyond my intellect, way beyond my
understanding!
So help me to quiet the
wanderings of my mind, so I can be still in Your Presence—as I create room for
You in my life and invite You in to fill my heart with Your Spirit.
Then help me to allow You
to take over all my thoughts and saturate my mind and spirit with the Light of
the Truth of Your Word.
Help me to believe that it
is your great desire that I walk with You in peace—at all times and in every
situation and circumstance.
How I long to remain in Your perfect peace! How I need to know that Your Presence abides continually here with me!

Glorious Name, Lord Jesus—my Prince of Peace!
