What a joy it is to live in this covenant relationship with You—knowing that You hold every part of my life in Your hands; knowing that I am Yours, and You are mine!

 

I am one of Your people, a sheep in Your pasture, and You expect me to listen for Your Voice and follow You obediently wherever You lead me—to place all my life in Your hands—for my own well-being.

 

You are the Good Shepherd, the One who continuously watches over me to protect me in every way—the One who loves me with an unfailing love and compassionately cares for my every need.

 

You are the Sovereign LORD, the One who created all things and the One who holds all things in Your hands—the One who bends all things according to Your will and the only One in whom I can confidently place all my faith, hope and love!

Heavenly Father,

It is in You that I have placed all of my trust, for I know that You will always lead me down the path of life—to that place of joy and peace that is found only in Your Presence.

Thank You that as I consistently seek to hear Your voice, as I listen for Your Holy Spirit within me to speak to every decision I make, You are always faithful to lead me down paths that bring me life—life that is full, rich, and free; life that fulfills Your will for me.

Thank You that as I remain in Your Presence, and allow the power of Christ in me to carry me through every hardship I face, the weight of the cares of this world is lifted from my shoulders—and my joy is made complete in serving You.

Thank You that Your invitation—to me and to all believers—is that I remain at Your right hand and enjoy the pleasure of living in the protection, provision, and peace of Your Presence with me, forever and ever.
