You, LORD, keep my lamp burning;

Light of my life,
May the oil of Your Spirit always keep the lamp of my life shining brightly within me—turning my darkness into glorious light!
Thank You that Your Holy
Spirit is always at work within my heart—always working to drive out the
darkness—to bring me to a place of peace, provision, protection, and sustaining
joy.
As troubles and trials
seek to overwhelm me, I thank You that Your great love continually revives my
heart and comforts my spirit with hope.
And when I find it hard to
see the way which You would have me go, You make my way plain before me and
order my steps—lighting each one along the way, to keep me from falling—as I step
out in faith and believe You.
Make the light of Christ shine
through me, so that others might be drawn into Your presence and experience the
joy of Your love.
May the oil of Your Spirit always keep the lamp of my life shining brightly within me—turning my darkness into glorious light!
