Heavenly Father,
Fill my heart with unceasing gratitude to You—both for who You are and for all that You done for me—so that the song of my heart and the melody on my lips will always declare my thanks and praise to You!
In the morning when I
rise, let me stand before Your Presence with thankful songs of praise raised to
You—for You are good and gracious to me and Your merciful, compassionate and
unfailing love for me endures forever.
Your love for me is so
great that You see beyond my own wants and never fail to provide me with what I
really need—so that I might walk in peace, joy, hope, and love, through a right
relationship of willing obedience to You.
You completely heal my
brokenness, perfectly filling every empty longing
of my heart—as I accept Your presence with me, and Your power and Your plan for me—so that I am made whole.
So let the meditations of
my heart be on who You are—so that my thoughts, words and actions, joyfully
celebrate You in praise—and so that the part of this world that I touch might
hear of Your wonderful greatness.
And in the evening when I return to rest, let me stand before Your Presence with thankful songs of praise raised to You—for You are good and gracious to me and Your merciful, compassionate and unfailing love for me endures forever.
