I Am Here To Help You

For I hold you by your right hand—
    I, the LORD your God.
And I say to you,
    ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.

Loving LORD,

Help me to embrace whatever lies before me today, with the certain confidence that You are by my side, that You hold me by the right hand and that You will help me every step of the way.

 I praise You, LORD, for Your omnipresence—that You are everywhere, at all times—which means You are always by my side and that my access to all that You are is only restricted by how willing I am to seek You out by faith.

I praise You, LORD, for Your compassion for someone like me—that You would comfort me by holding fast to my right hand, so as not to allow me to fall completely down when I stumble, but to uphold me in Your strength.

I praise You, for Your assurance to me that I have nothing to fear, because You—the LORD of all there is—are here to help me through every decision, every challenge, every conflict, every hurt, every attack of the enemy, every opportunity to serve You, in every moment, as You lead me in paths of righteousness, for love’s sake, in the fullness of Truth and Grace.

Help me to embrace whatever lies before me today, with the certain confidence that You are by my side, that You hold me by the right hand and that You will help me every step of the way.
