Let The LORD Receive All My Praise...And All The Glory

I waited patiently for the LORD to help me,
    and he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the pit of despair,
    out of the mud and the mire.
He set my feet on solid ground
    and steadied me as I walked along.
He has given me a new song to sing,
    a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see what he has done and be amazed.
    They will put their trust in the LORD.

O LORD My God,

Help me to wait patiently for Your help—so that I can receive all of the blessings of trusting in Your faithfulness, and so You can receive all of the glory for every amazing thing You do in my life.

Help me to trust that You turn to me and hear me when I cry out to You—and to remember that You are ever faithful to lift me out of the mud and mire of my despair.

Help me to believe that, because of Your loving faithfulness, You will again set my feet on solid ground—and that You will steady me along the path You have put before me.

Help me to embrace each new song You place within my heart—and sing it with my life, as a hymn of praise to You, for all to hear.

Let others see the wonderful things that You have done in my life and be amazed—and put their trust in You.

Help me to wait patiently for Your help—so that I can receive all of the blessings of trusting in Your faithfulness, and so You can receive all of the glory for every amazing thing You do in my life.
