Almighty God,
Let me forever sing for joy as I cling to You—as You shelter me under the wings of Your unfailing love and uphold me in every way, by the almighty power of Your strong right hand.
While there are those who
think they will find their help from the things of this world, You have
revealed the Truth to us in Your Word—that our help is found in You alone.
You are the One who spoke
the heavens and the earth into existence—so where would I find better help for
my life here on earth, than from the Creator of all that there is?
Because You love me, I can
sing for joy at all times—no matter what outward circumstances I face—for You
shelter me under the protection of Your covering wings from the troubles of
this life, and take on Yourself the force of each storm that comes against me.
As I cling to You—as I
trust in the peace, provision and protection of Your presence with me—You hold
me securely so I am able to fulfill Your plan and purpose for me.
So, let my unending song
in this life be a joyful song of praise, worship and thanksgiving offered to
You—my only help and my sure salvation!
