The Word of the LORD Holds True

For the word of the LORD holds true,
    and we can trust everything he does.

He loves whatever is just and good;
    the unfailing love of the LORD fills the earth.

Faithful LORD,

Thank You that every word You have ever spoken to us holds true—and we can trust everything that You do, because it flows out of Your unfailing love for us.

Thank You that we can take comfort and find peace in You—because You are always Holy, Just, and Good. 

For You are the ever-true, all-knowing, never-changing, ever-constant, always-trustworthy, Almighty God of all creation.  Your Word always reflects Your character perfectly—as it goes forth in power to accomplish Your purposes.

Help us to submit to the working of Your Spirit within us so that the character of Christ would be established in our lives—in order to bring You glory, honor and praise.

Thank You for loving all things that are just and good and for dealing with us according to Your never-failing love—which ever surrounds us, as it fills the whole earth with Your glory.

Thank You that every word You have ever spoken to us holds true—and we can trust everything that You do, because it flows out of Your unfailing love for us.
