O LORD, My God,
Help me to be careful to remember every way that You have demonstrated Your unfailing faithfulness to me—those things that I have witnessed with my very own eyes—and help me to be faithful to pass them on to my children and grandchildren.
Let it be that I would never
forget a single demonstration of Your forgiveness, mercy, grace, kindness,
goodness, gentleness, patience, faithfulness, guidance, provision, protection,
or unfailing love, to me—that my faith would be made ever stronger by my
personal experiential reference of this intimate relationship with You.
Help me to be faithful to
share my “experience of You” with my children and my grandchildren—that they,
too, may walk in all the peace and joy and freedom that a personal relationship
with You affords.
And make me joyfully
willing and faithfully obedient to share the wonderful story that You have written
with my life, with anyone that You ask me to tell—that they, too, might be
saved in every way.
