Never Forget The Good Things

Let all that I am praise the LORD;
    with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.
Let all that I am praise the L
ORD;
    may I never forget the good things he does for me.
He forgives all my sins
    and heals all my diseases.
He redeems me from death
    and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
He fills my life with good things.
    My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!

—Psalm 103:1-5 (NLT)

Heavenly Father,

Let me never forget the good things You have done for me and continually show my gratitude in wholehearted praise to You!

I don’t want to be that guy who always has something to complain about.  I want to live my life continually recounting the good things You have done for me—not only as an encouragement to myself, but for the benefit of others as well!

For You alone are Holy, LORD, and worthy of all praise, honor and glory.

You forgive all my sins—past, present and future—and You alone are the healer of my diseases.

You have redeemed me from the death I deserve, clothed me in righteousness, and granted me eternal life in Christ.

Out of the favor You have given me, You have lifted me up to live in joy and peace, have made me Your child, and have crowned me with Your love and compassionate mercy.

Oh, how You have filled my life with good things!  They surround me on every side!  May I never take for granted Your goodness to me!

Let my heart be filled with thanksgiving, as I look to see the beauty of Your creation, listen to hear the music that it sings, breathe to smell the fragrance that it offers, taste to enjoy the pleasure of its flavor, touch to feel the wonder of it all, and know that You created all of this for me.

You continually renew my life—replacing my old ways with a fresh, new life in You—as You lift me up and carry me on the winds of Your unfailing love!

Let me never forget the good things You have done for me and continually show my gratitude in wholehearted praise to You!

In the name of Jesus, Amen.
