I Run To You

This I declare about the LORD:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
    he is my God, and I trust him.

—Psalm 91:2 (NLT)

Heavenly Father,

In every circumstance and situation that I may face, let me boldly declare this about You:  You alone are my refuge, my place of safety; My God, and the One I trust.

Help me to make You my only refuge—the one place I run to when I am in distress.

Help me to make You my only place of safety—the one place where I can be truly safe.

Help me to make You my only God—that I might never put anyone or anything before You.

Help me to make You the One I trust—for You are the only One who will never let me down.

In every circumstance and situation that I may face, let me boldly declare this about You:  You alone are my refuge, my place of safety; My God, and the One I trust.
