Where I Want To Live

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
    will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

Almighty God,

Let me forever live in Your secret, sheltering place—where I find the serenity, security, and safety, which You have prepared, waiting there for me.

Help me remember that I enter into that secret place by living in constant communion with You—by abiding in Your Presence—and choosing to put all of my trust in You.

Help me to find my place of rest in Your shadow—in close proximity to You, under Your covering, firmly held within Your grip.

Help me not only to enter that secret place, but also to make it my place of permanent residence—where I remain under Your protection and where You are my refuge and rest, forever.

Let me forever live in Your secret, sheltering place—where I find the serenity, security, and safety, which You have prepared, waiting there for me.
