Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.—Colossians 3:16-17 (NLT)
Heavenly Father,
Help me to be a good representative of my Lord Jesus in whatever I do or say—and out of a grateful heart, may I always give thanks through Him to You.
Help me both to understand
and apply this truth: that if I hope to
represent Christ well, I must allow the message of Christ, in all of its
richness, to fill every corner of my life.
Help me to teach and
counsel others with all the wisdom that He gives—as I allow His rich message of
love to fill me so completely that it can’t help but overflow to others.
Help me to sing—from a
full and thankful heart—psalms, hymns and spiritual songs of praise and worship
to You.
Help me to be a good representative of my Lord Jesus in whatever I do or say—and out of a grateful heart, may I always give thanks through Him to You.
