Heavenly Father,
Help me always remember that perfect peace and confident hope can only be found in having an intimate, personal relationship with Your son, Jesus.
Help me to fully live each
moment of my life with the understanding that You sent us Your Word—our Lord
Jesus Christ—because of Your great desire that we would walk in the peace that You
have made available to us through Him.
Through all the trials and
sorrows that I face daily here in this world, help me not to allow my heart to
be moved from that place of overriding peace that exists far beyond my limited understanding.
Steady my heart with
courage and give me the inner strength to pursue that victory over this world
that You have already provided for me through Jesus—as, by faith, I rise above the
circumstances of life in this fallen world and I choose to live my life in
Christ.
Thank You that You have
overcome the world—that You have rendered it completely powerless to harm me or
hold me captive—that I might walk in total victory over it.
Help me always remember that perfect peace and confident hope can only be found in having an intimate, personal relationship with Your son, Jesus.
