I Am Here To Help You

For I hold you by your right hand—
    I, the LORD your God.
And I say to you,
    ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.

Loving LORD,

Help me to embrace whatever lies before me today, with the certain confidence that You are by my side, that You hold me by the right hand and that You will help me every step of the way.

 I praise You, LORD, for Your omnipresence—that You are everywhere, at all times—which means You are always by my side and that my access to all that You are is only restricted by how willing I am to seek You out by faith.

I praise You, LORD, for Your compassion for someone like me—that You would comfort me by holding fast to my right hand, so as not to allow me to fall completely down when I stumble, but to uphold me in Your strength.

I praise You, for Your assurance to me that I have nothing to fear, because You—the LORD of all there is—are here to help me through every decision, every challenge, every conflict, every hurt, every attack of the enemy, every opportunity to serve You, in every moment, as You lead me in paths of righteousness, for love’s sake, in the fullness of Truth and Grace.

Help me to embrace whatever lies before me today, with the certain confidence that You are by my side, that You hold me by the right hand and that You will help me every step of the way.

Fill The Temple

The trumpeters and singers performed together in unison to praise and give thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, they raised their voices and praised the LORD with these words:

“He is good!
    His faithful love endures forever!”

At that moment a thick cloud filled the Temple of the LORD.   The priests could not continue their service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the LORD filled the Temple of God.

Gracious LORD,

May the thick cloud of Your glorious presence fill the temple of my spirit, as I raise my voice in praise and thanks to You—and by the power of Your Spirit, blend my voice with every other follower of Christ in perfect unity, so that all we know is You!

May there be such a spirit of unity between my own heart and the hearts of all my brothers and sisters in Christ, that we would come together as one voice, praising and giving thanks to You—so that Your Spirit would fall on us and Your presence would fill our hearts, our homes, our churches, our nation and even our whole world.

For in Your perfect presence we find everything that we need—healing for our hurts, strength for our weakness, forgiveness for our sin, humility for our pride, comfort for our sorrows, peace for our turmoil, joy for our sadness, understanding for our confusion, courage for our fear, freedom from our bondage, hope for our future, and wisdom to live obediently—as we allow the love of Christ to live in us, for His glory, honor and praise.

May the thick cloud of Your glorious presence fill the temple of my spirit, as I raise my voice in praise and thanks to You—and by the power of Your Spirit, blend my voice with every other follower of Christ in perfect unity, so that all we know is You!
