As for me, I look to the LORD for help.
I wait confidently for God to save me,
and my God will certainly hear me.—Micah 7:7 (NLT)
God of My Salvation,
Help me not to look in any other place, or to anyone else, but only to You—for all my help surely comes from You!
Help me to wait—in
quietness of spirit and in confidence of heart—for You to save me in whatever
situation in which I find myself, because You
are my salvation.
And help me to see Your
hand at work on my behalf through every place and person that crosses the path
that You lead me down—as You teach me more about Your ways and Your plan and
purpose for me.
Still, let me cry out to You, for
I know that You hear me—You know my every thought before I do—and when I come
to You, You certainly hear me in
order to answer the needs of my heart.
Help me not to look in any other place, or to anyone else, but only to You—for all my help surely comes from You!
