Heavenly Father,
Fill my heart with compassion for all mankind. Let me walk humbly before You and those You place in my path. And in response to the unfailing love that You have lavished upon me in Christ, may I always look for those opportunities You give me to serve You by serving others—that they might see You in me.
Thank You for the gift
that You so graciously gave to us, when You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to
come and walk upon the earth among us—as an example for us all. Help me to pattern my life after His life of
service to all those around Him.
Help me to mirror His compassion—that
my heart might be moved—and I would boldly and wisely respond with action.
Help me to walk in His humility—devoid
of all pride—that I might not consider anything You ask me to do to be beneath
me, but joyfully embrace any opportunity to be a part of what You are doing.
Help me to channel His great
love for others—which can only flow from and through the great gift of love You
gave to me—so that others might see Your love, in action, through me.
