You Can Do All Things

“I know that You can do all things,
And that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.”

—Job 42:2 (NASB)

Almighty God,

Let me never limit You—in the only place that You can be limited—within my own heart and mind.  But let me continually embrace the Truth of Your unlimited strength and power, unlimited knowledge and wisdom, unlimited authority and dominion, and unlimited love for me as Your child.

Let me repent of all the times when by my thoughts, words and actions I have failed to acknowledge the Truth of Your greatness, glory, and perfection—times when I have decided within myself what You are able, or are willing, to do.

Help me to see, believe, and take comfort in the Truth that Your purposes cannot be thwarted—cannot be restrained in any way—no matter the mistakes and misjudgments I make in my life.  You work all things together for my good.

And help me to move boldly forward with my life, trusting that You will guide my every step and position me in the place that You want me to be, for my benefit and blessing—where my gifts and talents may be used for Your glory—because of Your unfailing love for me.

Let me never limit You—in the only place that You can be limited—within my own heart and mind.  But let me continually embrace the Truth of Your unlimited strength and power, unlimited knowledge and wisdom, unlimited authority and dominion, and unlimited love for me as Your child.

In the name of Jesus, Amen.
