He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You that out of Your great love for me You willingly shelter me under Your wings—and by the truth of Your faithful promises, You keep me safe in every way, as I make You my dwelling place.
Thank You that You cover
me, that You draw me close to You, that You hide me from the attacks of the
enemy and shield me from the storms of life—gathering me to Yourself, just as a
hen would gather her chicks close to herself and cover them with her wings,
keeping them safely hidden with her.
Help me to hide myself in You.
Thank You that all Your
promises are true and that You are always faithful to Your promises—for in the Truth
of Your promises I find my armor (to cover me when attacked) and my protection
(to keep me from all harm). Help me live
in the Truth of Your faithful promises.
