I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.—Ephesians 1:19-20 (NLT)
Omnipotent God,
Help me to grow in my understanding of the incredible greatness of Your power—that same power that You allow to reside within me, by the presence of Your Spirit there—so that it would work more fully, both in me and through me, as I put my faith and trust in You.
Help me to stand in
awestruck wonder in the knowledge and understanding that it was that very same
power which is presently at work within me—the
power of Your love in action for all mankind—that raised Christ from the
dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly realms.
Help me to realize how I must
continually humble myself and submit to that power within me—that very same unlimited
resource of power—so that I can be changed and perfected daily to become more
like Christ.
Help me to truly know that
it is Your power alone that enables
me to become everything You want me to be and to do whatever You call me to do—in
order that the world might see that my victory, down every path that You set before me, comes through Christ.
Help me to grow in my understanding of the incredible greatness of Your power—that same power that You allow to reside within me, by the presence of Your Spirit there—so that it would work more fully, both in me and through me, as I put my faith and trust in You.
