To Work The Works Of God

Therefore they said to Him, “What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?”  Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”

Father God,

Help me remember that my part in the work of God is to believe in Jesus—to trust Him, to rely on Him, to faithfully cling to Him and to place all my faith in Him.

Let my knowledge about Jesus be ever increasing—so my understanding of who He is will always be growing, more and more.

Let my understanding of who He is become the foundation of wisdom that leads me into an ever-deepening relationship in which I live for Him—and by which He is made fully alive in me.

Let the living of my life in relationship with Him strengthen my faith in Him, as His faithfulness is shown forth through my experience of Him in my life—and as He allows me the privilege of joining Him, in what He is doing in the lives of those around me.

Help me remember that my part in the work of God is to believe in Jesus—to trust in Him, to rely on Him, to faithfully cling to Him and to place all my faith in Him.
