Heavenly Father,
Help me to be persistent in my pursuit to learn more about You—so I can live in all the fullness of that close, personal, intimate relationship with You, which was made available to me through Christ.
Help me to keep asking You
for good things—things that You want me to have—like knowledge and
understanding of Your ways, wisdom to discern the truth in every situation, faith
to believe, and mercy, love, and compassion for others.
Help me to be intentional,
purposeful, and relentless, as I seek You with all my heart—and keep me from
settling for a half-hearted, haphazard approach to discovering who You are, who
I am in You, and understanding Your plans and purposes for my life.
Help me to keep knocking
at the door of Your heart, knowing that You will always answer me and welcome me
into Your Presence—when I come to You believing that You take great delight in
showing me things I do not know.
Help me to be persistent in my pursuit to learn more about You—so I can live in all the fullness of that close, personal, intimate relationship with You, which was made available to me through Christ.
