For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come. Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name. And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. Heavenly Father,
Let my life be a continual sacrifice of praise to You! Help me submit my every thought, word and action, to the power of Christ in me—as I proclaim my allegiance to His name and journey on toward my forever home with You.
Help me to see this world
for what it truly is and not lose sight of the fact that this world is not my
permanent home, but is just a part of the journey that I am taking to get to that
place which Christ has prepared for me.
As I move through the
troubles of this life, make me bold to proclaim my allegiance to Christ—as I joyfully
and continually give a sacrifice of praise to You, with a grateful heart.
Remind me that whatever I
gather here on earth, must remain here, and only what I give away here on earth—both
things tangible and intangible—can be measured for eternity.
Help me, with willingly obedience,
to do good at all times and freely share with those in need—those gifts and
blessings You have entrusted to me for the time I remain here on earth—so that
I might please You and so my time spent here on earth might count for eternity.
Let my life be a continual sacrifice of praise to You! Help me submit my every thought, word and action, to the power of Christ in me—as I proclaim my allegiance to His name and journey on toward my forever home with You.
