The LORD is my strength and shield.
I trust him with all my heart.

Gracious LORD,
Let me always sing Your praises with a joyful heart—bursting out in songs of thanksgiving for all You have done!
For You, LORD, are my
strength! You sustain me in every
way—physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually—no matter what troubles I
face. You carry me through every storm
of life and never allow me to slip from Your grip.
You are my shield! You shield me from all the attacks of my
adversaries! Because I have made room in
my heart for You, the Truth of Your Word rules and reigns there as a victorious
standard against the lies the enemy would have me believe.
You are my helper! You help me, because I put my trust in You! And I am helped even as I wait for You to
move on my behalf, by the hope that I have because of Your proven faithfulness
to me.
My heart is filled with
joy! It bursts forth from me in songs of
thanksgiving! For You have patiently and
passionately pursued me according to Your unrelenting and unfailing love for
me!
Let me always sing Your praises with a joyful heart—bursting out in songs of thanksgiving for all You have done!
