Loving LORD,
Let my overriding plan for every moment of my life be to do those things that honor You and bring You glory—as I submit my will to Yours and trust that You are the One who determines my steps.
As I make my plan for each
new day, let me determine to seek You first—to listen to hear the voice of Your
Spirit, so that my every step will be down the path that leads me to the
protection, provision and peace that You have waiting for me along the way.
As I walk out my plan for
each new day, help me take comfort in knowing that You determine my steps—so
that when things don’t go as I have planned, I will not be disappointed, but
will rest in the peace of knowing that You are working all things together for
my good.
As I look back at the end
of each day, help me to rejoice, as I see how You determined my every step—how
You have taken my plan and have perfected it as Your very own, for Your glory,
honor and praise.
