You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed.—Psalm 139:13-16 (NLT)
All Wise Creator God,
Let me forever praise and worship You alone—for You are the One who not only gave me life, but recorded every day and laid out every moment of that life before a single day had passed!
You
are the Designer of my most intricate parts, the Composer of their delicate
harmonies, the Architect of the frame of this temple, and the Author and
Finisher of my amazing story! How
completely You know me!
Let me ever be respectful
of what You have done, are doing, and have yet to do, within me and through
me—coming before you with reverent fear of Your awesome power, yet with quiet
confidence—knowing that of all You have created, You have set Your affections
on me, as one part of You greatest creation.
Grant that all that I
am—physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually—would bring You glory,
honor and praise, for all that You are and for all that You have done in my
life!
Let me forever praise and worship You alone—for You are the One who not only gave me life, but recorded every day and laid out every moment of that life before a single day had passed!
In the name of Jesus,
Amen.
