God's Faithful and Forever Enduring Love

He remembered us in our weakness.

He saved us from our enemies.

Merciful and Loving Father God,

Thank You for Your faithful and forever enduring love—which is infinitely far beyond what I could ever deserve.

Thank You for remembering me in my weakness—for loving me when I was lost in my sin, for wanting me enough to make a way for me to live in right relationship with You, and for giving me Your strength, so that I might truly live my life through You.

Thank You for saving me from those enemies which wage war against me—for saving me from sin, death, and even hell itself—through the sacrifice of Your Son, and my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Thank You for giving me life giving food—but not just that which I eat. Thank You that I find in You every good thing I need to live, and grow, and learn, and serve, so that in doing so my life might bring glory to You. 

I give You all of my thanks and all of my praise, for You are the Great and Glorious Creator of everything that is, and still You invite me to drink from the inexhaustible fountain of Your never ending mercy and love.

Good and Faithfully Loving LORD,

I offer my heartfelt thanks to You today, LORD, because You are always good to me and Your constant and faithful love for me knows no end!

Help me to cherish and hold in my heart all those times when I see so clearly the blessings that You have lavished on me—out of Your goodness and immeasurable love for me.

When things seem dark along the path You have me walking down, help me to realize, how limited my perspective is when compared to Your limitless knowledge and wisdom.

And help me to trust that just because I don’t see Your unfailing goodness in every moment I may find myself, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t there—just waiting for me to discover it.

Remind me to look back over my life to see how Your faithful love for me has always brought good out of my deepest trials—so that I might be encouraged even as I face the trials I find in each new day.

Help me to discover that simply keeping a grateful heart towards You brings about good things in my life.

And when I feel so undeserving of Your goodness and Your faithful love, remind me that Your love for me is not determined by what I do—that there is nothing that I can say or do that would ever change it.
