Heavenly Father,
Help me to bring honor to the institution of biblical marriage—as a witness to others of Your love for all of us—always giving my wife the honor she is due, by staying true to my vows to her and my commitments to You.
Keep me faithful to
her in every way—by helping me always to keep my thoughts, motives and actions pure
and honorable.
Help me to demonstrate my
love for her by following Your example of love for me.
Help me to pray for her, provide for her,
protect her and hold her close at all times with compassion, mercy and grace—willingly and freely giving my life
for her.
May our marriage be a
witness to the world of Your intentions for this wondrous institution, so
others may know the beauty of Your plan.
