The Power Of Your Love

I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.

Omnipotent Father God,

Help me to grow more each day in my understanding of the limitlessness of Your great power and help me walk through each day in that very same power—which You make available to me, as I put my faith and trust in You.

I don’t want to allow my inability to figure something out with my finite little brain to limit my faith in Your infinite power to take care of my every need.

I want to embrace Your mighty power in all its fullness, so that I might—through the working of that power within me—be able to become everything You want me to be and do those things that would bring glory and honor to Your name.

Help me to understand that Your power—which is at work within me right now—is the very same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly realms.  It was and is the power of Your love for Him and the power of Your love for me. 

Help me to see that it is Your power that has also raised me from the death of my sin and is changing and perfecting me daily so that I might become more like Christ—that it is not by my own power, but rather the unlimited power that is made freely available to me because of Your mercy, grace and love for me.

Help me to grow more each day in my understanding of the limitlessness of Your great power and help me walk through each day in that very same power—which You make available to me, as I put my faith and trust in You.
