Merciful and Gracious God,
Help me to walk my life path courageously—in the strength, joy, hope and peace that come from believing that You are always working all things together for my good.
Sometimes, it is easy for
me to believe that You are at work to bring about Your perfect plan and purpose
for my life—because it is evident in the abundance of blessings that surround
me.
Sometimes, it is hard for
me to see Your hand at work for my good—because I am so consumed by the
difficult things that I am facing right now, that I fail to look for where my
present trials may take me in the end and how You will ultimately use them for
my good.
Help me to remember that
it isn’t about what I see—it is about
what Your Word promises me is happening, as I live according to Your purpose.
Remind me that, even when
it isn’t so obvious, You never stop working to use whatever I may experience in
this life to bring about good for me—because I love You and I am walking in the
calling that You have placed on my life.
Help me to walk my life path courageously—in the strength, joy, hope and peace that come from believing that You are always working all things together for my good.
