The Peace Of The Eternal Rock

You will keep in perfect peace
    all who trust in you,
    all whose thoughts are fixed on you!
Trust in the LORD always,
    for the LORD GOD is the eternal Rock.

LORD GOD of Peace,

Keep me in perfect peace—that peace that can only be found in You.

I want to live in the kind of peace that remains at all times—in the middle of any situation or circumstance—ever constant and unchanging.

I want to live in the kind of peace that comes from knowing that all is well between You and me—that no un-confessed sin remains to separate me from You.

I want to live in the kind of peace that radiates outwardly—from deep within me—to a world that needs Your peace so desperately.

I know that You have made that kind of peace available to me—but it requires me to believe that all the promises of Your Word are true for me, right here and right now.

I know that I must trust without wavering—at all times and in all things, no matter what comes against me—that You are ever working for my good.

I know that I must fix my thoughts on You—and Your deep, ever-abiding and unfailing love for me.

So, help me to trust You, forever—that You are, and forever will be, my strength and the firm and never-failing Rock upon which I can build my faith and hope.

Keep me in perfect peace—that peace that can only be found in You.
