This Is The Way

Your own ears will hear him.
    Right behind you a voice will say,
“This is the way you should go,”
    whether to the right or to the left.

Heavenly Father,

I am so grateful that, when I choose to listen, I can hear Your Voice telling me—at every turn—the right path to follow, as I walk through life with You.

May I always look forward, with great anticipation, to my daily walk with You—as I move through each new day that You unfold before me. 

Help me to move forward with energy, enthusiasm, and excitement—eager to discover the things that You have planned for me to experience.

Help me to trust that You will be warning me of the danger around me—for You have already been where I am going and I will be kept safe as I remain in Your Presence.

Help me to rest in the Truth that, at every turn I make, if I will only listen and obey, You will speak to me and show me the way that I should go—and that in the end, I will get to go home to be forever with You.

I am so grateful that, when I choose to listen, I can hear Your Voice telling me—at every turn—the right path to follow, as I walk through life with You.
