No Greater Joy, Nor Deeper Peace

You have given me greater joy
    than those who have abundant harvests of grain and new wine.

In peace I will lie down and sleep,
    for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.

Heavenly Father,

There is no greater joy, nor deeper peace, than that which is found in trusting You.

Thank You for showing me how to have inward joy and heartfelt peace, by trusting You at all times.

Thank You that my joy and peace is not contingent on my outward circumstances, as long as I put my trust in You.

Thank You that, because my joy and peace is steady and unchanging, I can overcome every discouragement that I face.

Thank You that I can lie down and sleep, confidently trusting You to keep me safe in Your arms of love.

There is no greater joy, nor deeper peace, than that which is found in trusting You.
