The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me.
I will protect those who trust in my name.
When they call on me, I will answer;
I will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue and honor them.
I will reward them with a long life
and give them my salvation.”—Psalm 91:14-16 (NLT)
O Lord my God,
Thank You for the unfailing way that You remain with me, to rescue and save me—out of the troubles I encounter while I am here and ultimately to the place where troubles will be no more.
Your Word promises me that
You will rescue me—because I love You.
Your Word promises me that
You will protect me—because I put my trust in Your name.
Your Word promises me that
You will answer me—because I call to You.
Your Word promises me that
You will be with me—when I find myself in trouble.
Your Word promises me that
You will honor me—because I humbly depend on You alone.
Your Word promises me that
You will reward me with long life—long enough for me to accomplish Your purposes
for me here and be ready to meet You there.
Your Word promises me that
You will give me Your salvation—as I reach out and take it by faith.
