Heavenly Father,
Help me to live in the freedom from sin that comes through my obedience to Your commands.
You know each and every
thing that I do, for there is nothing
that is hidden from You.
You carefully examine the thoughts and
motives behind my every action, as well.
Since Christ has set me
free from sin, may I never again allow my sin to enslave me and hold me under
its power—but rather, by the power of Christ in me, may I have the strength to
resist temptation, through obedience to Your Word.
Grant me self-control, so
that I don’t wander from Your ways and become lost because of my own foolishness.
Help me to live in the freedom from sin that comes through my obedience to Your commands.
