Heavenly Father,
May my desire always be to make Jesus Christ the Lord and King over every area of my life.
May the work that I set my
hands to, be the work that You have given me to do.
May the plans that I make,
be the plans that You have laid out before me.
May the relationships that
I form, be the relationships that You have appointed for me.
May the hope that I have
in my heart, be the hope that I find in You alone.
May the love that I share,
be a reflection of the perfect love You have showered on me.
May the time that I play,
be a joyous celebration of praise to You for Your gift of life to me.
May the rest that I take
from my labors, be the rest that only You can give—flowing from the knowledge
that You care for my every need.
As I seek Your Kingdom first—as
I relinquish control of every area of my life to the Lordship of Jesus—help me
to believe and never doubt that You will provide me with everything I need to
sustain my life and that You will equip me in every way—materially, physically,
mentally, emotionally and spiritually—to do what You have planned for me to do.
May my desire always be to make Jesus Christ the Lord and King over every area of my life.
