We are confident of all this because of our great trust in God through Christ. It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God.—2 Corinthians 3:4-5 (NLT)
Heavenly Father,
Help my confidence continue to grow out of a great and ever increasing trust in You through Christ—knowing that I am not qualified to doing anything on my own, but that it is You alone who qualifies me.
Keep me mindful of my
complete dependence on You as I purpose to use that with which You have gifted
me to bring glory, honor and praise to You.
Help me to examine my
motives and expectations—so that I don’t act in order to receive the praises of
man, but only seek to lift up the name of Jesus and make Him known.
