Ongoing Conversation

Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion.  Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

Dear Lord,

Let my prayers be an ongoing conversation with You, as I walk out Your plan for me in this new day.

I don’t want to be a person who cries out to You only after they have gone their own way and made a mess of things.

I want to listen for Your Spirit to guide me in every step I take along the way, so that I can be right where Your plan for my life takes me, because I know Your plan is for my good—for my protection and provision and peace.

Help me remember to talk with You in prayer, in every moment, on every occasion—good and bad—with a grateful heart, asking for Your guidance and direction so I won’t get off course.

Help me be alert to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, as I lift up not only my own concerns and praises, but also as I persist in prayer for the needs of my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Let my prayers be an ongoing conversation with You, as I walk out Your plan for me in this new day.
