So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.—1 Corinthians 15:58 (NLT)
Lord of my life,
May I never be moved by what I see—or do not see—but only stand in the strength and power that comes from knowing You promised that nothing I do for You is ever useless.
I want to be strong and
immovable, Lord—having built my life on the solid foundation of my relationship
with You.
I want to work
enthusiastically for You, Lord, trusting that the true value of what I do for
You is not based on the results I see—but rather, more likely based on things I
may never see.
I want always to trust that
as I stand firm in my faith in You and work enthusiastically at what You have
given me to do, You will cause Your will to be accomplished in and through me.
May I never be moved by what I see—or do not see—but only stand in the strength and power that comes from knowing You promised that nothing I do for You is ever useless.
In the name of Jesus,
Amen.
