I take joy in doing your will, my God,

Father God,
May I always find joy in doing Your will.
Help me to continually seek
out Your instructions, through prayer and by searching Your Word—the Bible.
May my earnest seeking
after Your will cause Your instructions to be written within my heart and may
my great desire be to follow them—may that which is my duty to do, become my delight
to do.
Help me to walk in the
blessings of joy that come when, in heartfelt
obedience, I follow Your instructions—instructions You give to me for my
benefit.
May I always find joy in doing Your will.
