As I learn your righteous regulations,
I will thank you by living as I should!
I will obey your decrees.

Heavenly Father,
Please don’t give up on me—don’t leave me to my own understanding and wisdom—but continue in Your unrelenting, passionate, pursuit of my heart, by patiently guiding me to Your truth.
Help me to come to fully
understand Your righteous regulations. Let
them permeate my heart—through my experience of walking with You each day—as through
Your Spirit You reveal their purpose in protecting, providing for, and
preserving my life.
Let my response to this
understanding be one of heartfelt thanksgiving and praise to You—not only in my
thoughts and words, but even more so in the way I live my life—so
that my
entire life might become a continuous praise offered to You!
It is my desire to
willingly and completely obey You—trusting that because of Your unfailing and
unlimited love for me, You will always show me how I can experience Your very
best for me.
