LORD, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws;
our heart’s desire is to glorify your name.—Isaiah 26:8 (NLT)
Heavenly Father,
May the desire of my heart truly be to glorify You in everything that I do.
Help me to see that the best
proof of my trust in You is my obedience to Your laws.
Show me each time that I
fail to trust You completely—when I foolishly place my trust in my own ability,
or strength, and I fail to submit my desires to Your will and Your ways.
Then guide me back to the
path that brings me life in its fullest—life marked by complete trust in my
Savior and filled with the rich blessings that come from faithful obedience to
You.
May the desire of my heart truly be to glorify You in everything that I do.
