But may all who search for you
be filled with joy and gladness in you.
May those who love your salvation
repeatedly shout, “The LORD is great!”—Psalm 40:16 (NLT)
Heavenly Father,
May all of my days be filled with joy and gladness as I fervently search for You in every moment of each new day!
Help me to seek You first:
In praise and worship—declaring who You are and all the amazing things You
have done for me.
In prayer—laying out the depths of my heart before You.
In reading and studying Your Word—that I might know You more.
And
in quietness before You—that I might
hear Your voice speaking to my spirit.
Help me to see Your hand
at work:
In me—as You change my heart and patiently mold me into who You designed
me to be.
Through me—as You use me to minister good things to others by
filling my mouth with words of loving Truth and causing all of my actions to be
a reflection my Savior’s love for all of us.
And all around me—as by Your Spirit You show me how I can join in
with the work You have begun in others and encourage them to join me in drawing
near to You.
May my love for my Savior
and the joy and peace that knowing Him brings me, never diminish, as I shout
aloud His greatness forevermore!
May all of my days be filled with joy and gladness as I fervently search for You in every moment of each new day!
