All Sufficient God,
From nothing, You created all that there is, in heaven and on earth, and You give life and breath to everything that exists—satisfying every need of Your creation.
Help me not to allow the
vain imaginations of my mind to restrict my understanding of, my acceptance of,
my experience of, or my belief in, Your all-encompassing Power and Majesty.
Help me to remember that
You are not dependent on me in any way—that You don’t need me to help You to accomplish Your plan and purposes.
But thank You that You do allow me to be involved in the accomplishment of those plans and purposes—when
I, in willingly obedience, submit myself to Your will for my life.
Fill my heart with the
understanding that, apart from You, I can do nothing. For You are the One who not only breathed the
breath of life into me, but are also the One who continues to give me life with
every breath I take. You completely satisfy my every need.
