Into His Glorious Presence

Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.  All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.

—Jude 24-25 (NLT)

Great and Glorious God,

May You forever be glorified in my heart and life, as You alone are able to cause me to continue to stand and save me completely through Jesus Christ—bringing me with great joy into Your glorious presence without a single fault.

Today, remind me of the righteousness that I stand in through the blood of Christ, so that I might know the glory of Your presence with me in every moment of this day—having boldly come into Your presence with thanksgiving and praise, in worship to You, the One who alone is God.

Help me not to allow the “would have, could have, and should haves” of the yesterdays of my life—those mistakes and sins of my regrettable past—to keep me from actively pursuing everything that You want me to be right now.

Help me to believe that You are the One who holds my future—that what is uncertain to me and tempts me to become afraid, is certain to You and therefore nothing to fear.

Help me to truly dwell in Your presence drinking in Your peace and Your power—for You have all the glory, majesty, power, and authority over endless yesterdays, over the place where I am called to live right now, and over all tomorrows to come.

May You forever be glorified in my heart and life, as You alone are able to cause me to continue to stand and save me completely through Jesus Christ—bringing me with great joy into Your glorious presence without a single fault.

In the name of Jesus, Amen.
