Heavenly Father,
Grant me the strength to resist any temptation to give into my fleshly inclinations, so that I may remain joyful, prayerful and thankful in all situations and circumstances—and Your will can be accomplished in my life.
Regardless of how I might
feel in any particular moment, may my joy—my deep happiness that is fueled by continuing
to walk with You in faith—remain constant and unchanged.
Regardless of how busy and
disordered my day might become, may I continue unceasingly in prayerful conversation
with the Prince of Peace—the One who brings order to my chaos and peace to all
things.
Regardless of what
circumstances I may find myself in, may I remain thankful—continually expressing
my gratefulness to You from the innermost parts of my heart—knowing that You
work all things for my good.
