Come, Go This Way

Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying,

Heavenly Father,

I am so grateful that, if I will listen, I will hear Your voice showing me, at every turn, the right path to follow today.

Just like my dog, excitedly anticipates his walks with me, I am excited to walk with You today. 

I know that You want me to move forward with energy, enthusiasm and curiosity to discover the things that You have planned for me to experience.

I know that You will be watching for danger around me and will not let me out of Your sight so I can feel safe with You.

I know that at every turn I make, if I will only listen and obey, You will speak to me and show me the way that I should go, and that in the end, I get to go back home with You.

I am so grateful that, if I will listen, I will hear Your voice showing me, at every turn, the right path to follow today.

Relentless Love

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Loving Lord,

Thank you for the love that You continually demonstrate to me by Your unrelenting, passionate, pursuit of my heart.

I know that I can be sure of this: there is nothing that will in any way stop, alter, or diminish the love You have for me in Christ Jesus. It is passionately unrelenting and unconditional, always seeking to fill all of my heart.

There isn’t anything in all creation that can remove me from Your love. Your love knows no time or distance.  It cannot be cut off and it never fades in the least.

I cannot escape Your love. I cannot hide from Your love. I cannot change Your love by anything I say or do now, or in the future.

Your love never fails to reach me. No matter where I am, no matter the circumstances I face, no matter what my fears and faith failures may be, You still lavish Your love on me, to draw me back to fellowship with You.

Thank you for the love that You continually demonstrate to me by Your unrelenting, passionate, pursuit of my heart.

Perfect Peace

You will keep in perfect peace
   those whose minds are steadfast,
   because they trust in you.
Trust in the LORD forever,

LORD of Peace,

Keep me in that perfect peace that I only find in You.

I want to live in the kind of peace that radiates outwardly, from deep within me, to a world that needs Your peace so desperately.

I want to live in the kind of peace that remains at all times, in the middle of any circumstance, ever constant and unchanging.

I want to live in the kind of peace that comes from knowing that all is well between You and me, and that no un-confessed sin remains to separate me from You.

I know that You have made that kind of peace available to me, but it requires something on my part.

I know that I must trust You without wavering, at all times and in all things, no matter what comes against me, firmly and faithfully trusting in Your deep, ever- abiding love for me.

So, help me to trust in You, forever.  For, forever You will be my strength and a firm and never-failing foundation for my faith and hope to build upon.

Keep me in that perfect peace that I only find in You.

Stumble-free Running With You

I instruct you in the way of wisdom
   and lead you along straight paths.

Ever Wise God,

I want to walk…and even run…with You, today and every day!

I know that You alone reveal to me godly wisdom and insight into Your ways and Your purposes. You show me the best direction to go in order to get me straight to where You want me to be.

I know that You have promised that, as I stay on the paths of uprightness that You have shown me, You will make the path clear and open, so that my progress is not held back and I will even be able to run forward with You without stumbling.

I want to walk…and even run…with You, today and every day!
