Heavenly
Father,
Open my heart to Your discipline, that I might learn from You.
Give me a
love for knowledge and help me to accept correction as a pathway to learning.
Keep me from
allowing my pride to hide those things that You want me to learn and help me to
stay open to willingly receive the discipline, correction and wisdom of others,
as I allow You to speak to me through them.
May I never
be so stupid as to rigidly refuse to acknowledge my errors and foolishly continue
in them, down a path that leads to certain destruction.
Open my heart to Your discipline, that I might learn from You.
